Barbecued Chicken in Lime Chili Marinade

Ingredients

  • 4 single skinless chicken breast fillets
  • 2 Tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 lime

Lime Chili Marinade

  • 1/3 cup lime juice
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 2 tsp grated fresh ginger
  • 1 Tbsp Bragg's (this is a healthier version of tamari sauce, can find at Nature's Fare, Superstore or Save-On Foods)
  • 1 small fresh red chili, finely chopped
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Preparation

Combine marinade ingredients, then put chicken and marinade in a bowl, cover, refrigerate several hours or overnight.

Drain chicken and discard marinade. Heat barbecue or griddle pan, and cook chicken on both sides until browned and tender. Sprinkle with cilantro, and serve with lime wedges.
