Thai Therapeutic Massage
Traditional Thai therapeutic massage dates back at least 2,500 years. It is recognized as a practical application of the Buddhist concept of “metta”, or loving kindness. With a skilled therapist, it is a known healing technique that places emphasis on the mind and body connection and is used in the treatment of emotional and spiritual unrest.
Thai Therapeutic massage is based on the principle that invisible energy lines of force run through the body. The focus is on 10 major lines called “Sen”. The massage techniques releases blockage that may exist along the Sen Created by hyper-irritation from muscle overuse and stress to allow the free flow of energy throughout the body. This increases circulation, full muscle range and tone and overall healthy balance.
