Registered Massage Therapist
Kolby Summerfelt is a new Registered Massage Therapist excited to help out in the Okanagan community. In November of 2025, Kolby graduated from the Okanagan College of Massage Therapy (OVCMT) and was the recipient of the Citizenship Award for his selflessness and kindness towards peers and clients during studies. Kolby is a licensed member of the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC. He is also a standing member of the Registered Massage Therapy Association of BC.
Kolby is certified in the treatment of many different conditions concerning the musculoskeletal system. His main areas of interest are therapeutic relaxation and active living/injury management. Kolby is trained in a multitude of techniques such as Swedish massage, Deep Tissue massage, Myofascial techniques, Neuromuscular therapy (NMT) and Joint Mobilizations. He is excited to work with his clients to help educate, encourage and ensure the highest quality of care.
Kolby has lived in the Okanagan all of his life in the small town of Lumby just outside of Vernon. He is an avid hiker and loves to spend his free time outdoors as much as possible. When he isn’t outdoors on an adventure, he is spending time inside curled up with a book or writing. Before coming to massage therapy, Kolby pursued a degree in the sciences, hoping to put his knowledge to use in service of others. When life forced him to step away from school, he embarked on a healing journey which eventually led him to this discipline. Massage therapy has helped Kolby immensely on his healing journey and he is proud to be able to share the discipline with those who need it.
